My passion is to capture the simple magic of an ordinary day. I love also to create and photograph scenes that evoke unexpected emotions or forgotten memories. There are links from every image on my site.
I took a hike with my family at Highland Forest, part of the Onondaga County Park System in Central New York State. We go there often and while it is lovely in every season, I prefer the scenery in autumn when the foliage is colorful and vibrant. Here, a mottled but bright red sugar maple ( latin: Acer saccharum ) leaf contrasts against brown logs and green moss, ferns, and other plants. A click on the photo will take you to my Fine Art America site.
