Prints available in my Etsy shop here. I had hoped to capture some late summer blossoms on a hike last evening, but the sun had already set beneath the tree line. I was excited when I spotted this guy, my first woolly bear caterpillar of the season. I shot it with my macro lens open […]
I photographed these sweet blue flowers on a trail in my town, although they grow in my yard, as well. I’ve always called them Forget-Me-Nots, but I learned that they are known as Scorpion Grass, as well. I also learned that they are in the genus, Myosotis, which comes Latin and Greek and means “mouse’s ear”, so […]
As lake effect snow piled up outside yesterday – the day before New Year’s Eve – I enjoyed editing this sunny, colorful image. This beautiful field of vibrant golden yellow sunflowers is in Central New York state, outside of Syracuse. A click on the image will take you to my Fine Art America page.
The butterflies in this display are actually a pretty butter-yellow, but today I made them pink and added some vintage texture and faint script. How pretty they would be fluttering across a little girl’s bedroom wall or a baby girl’s nursery. A click on the image will bring you to my Fine Art America website.

Sandy Neck Beach in the Town of Barnstable on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is a barrier beach comprised of 4700 wonderful acres. Temporarily marked in the sand are the footprints from beach-goers who have come and gone. The fading color of the beach grass is the only clue that this photo was shot in late October. […]

Here, the clean lines of the triangular roofs and rectangular windows in the foreground contrast with the soft, curved lines of the clouds and mountains in the landscape beyond. A click on the image will bring you […]
This image is from earlier this winter, although here – outside of Syracuse, New York – we still have piles of snow on the ground. The forecast shows rising temps, so perhaps we will see the grass this week. The image links to my Etsy photography shop.
