I photographed these delicate dried hydrangea blossoms on a sunny winter day in Central New York. Earth tones of beige, brown, tan, ivory, and gray are featured, and the ice crystals in the background create a beautiful bokeh effect. I enhanced the image with fine French script and layers of light textures.

This poor bee was very lethargic as I shot this photo the morning of the first frost in Central New York. Rays of sunlight were streaming through the mist rising from the nearby canal.
