A bouquet of Japanese anenome blossoms photographed from above casts a long shadow on the linen tablecloth. These elegant flowers grew in abundance at our early-1800s Colonial in Central New York State. A click on the image takes you to my growing gallery at Saatchi Art, a new site for me.
As lake effect snow piled up outside yesterday – the day before New Year’s Eve – I enjoyed editing this sunny, colorful image. This beautiful field of vibrant golden yellow sunflowers is in Central New York state, outside of Syracuse. A click on the image will take you to my Fine Art America page.
This beautiful scene was captured in Upper Austria in the Salzkammergut region near Hallstatt in April 2014. In the foreground, green trees stand tall along the steep incline of the mountains, while snow-capped mountains of higher elevation and a blue sky with white clouds complete the scene. I photographed these delicate dried hydrangea blossoms on a sunny winter day in Central New York. Earth tones of beige, brown, tan, ivory, and gray are featured, and the ice crystals in the background create a beautiful bokeh effect. I enhanced the image with fine French script and layers of light textures.
Those of us who have braved a frigid Upstate New York winter are seeing the first signs of Spring. I am getting ahead of things, but there is nothing like the scent of fragrant lavender in the air on a summer day. This image is new to my shops!
Peonies are some of my favorite flowers with their velvet petals and lovely fragrance. This image has layers of light textures for vintage appeal and has a soft, dreamy glow.
The butterflies in this display are actually a pretty butter-yellow, but today I made them pink and added some vintage texture and faint script. How pretty they would be fluttering across a little girl’s bedroom wall or a baby girl’s nursery. A click on the image will bring you to my Fine Art America website.
Purple pansies enjoy sunlight reflecting off a Venetian canal. The warm breeze flows through slightly open windows, fluttering lacy curtains.
