THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

My black and white photo composite features Uncle Tim’s Bridge in Wellfleet on Cape Cod. I photographed the scene with a full-spectrum converted camera with a 720 nm infrared filter and composited it with a starry sky. Layered with faint textures.

Since my youth, I have been fascinated by the night sky. My hope is that this image allows the viewer a moment of quiet contemplation.

30 x 24 inches, Series of 20 (28 x 22″ plus 1″ border)
20 x 16 inches, Series of 40 (18 x 14″ plus 1″ border)
10 x 8 inches, Series of 90 (9 x 7″ plus 1/2″ border)

Unmatted and unframed. Printed with pigment inks on matte paper, the image extends to the edge. It will be signed and numbered ON THE BACK with archival ink, and you will receive a certificate of authenticity.

Shipping is free to the continental United States. I will send you an email with a tracking number when your large abstract Cape Cod seascape is on the way.

Prices may increase as editions sell. It will ship in a rigid tube.
