THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
This is a view from the back of Highland Light in Truro on Cape Cod illuminated by infrared light, which the human eye cannot see. Shot with a full spectrum converted camera with a 720 nm infrared filter.
What does this mean? All cameras are fitted with a filter which blocks ultraviolet and infrared light and allows through only visible light, the light we see. During the full spectrum conversion, that filter is removed allowing ultraviolet, visible, and full spectrum light through. To create this image, I used a filter on the camera to block ultraviolet and almost all visible light, allowing only infrared rays through, which are invisible to us.

The photo is printed with pigment ink with a white border. If you prefer not to have a border, please let me know and I will remove it so the image size will be enlarged to the size of the base dimensions.
