Blush pink, Cape Cod art I photographed in Truro on the Great Dunes Trail. The Great Dunes Trail winds through the forest and then the dunes high above the ocean. Cheerful blush pink and blue with beautifully illuminated grasses, perfect above a bed or a sofa!

I photographed this scene using a 720nm infrared filter on a full-spectrum-converted camera. Infrared photography allows us to see the world illuminated by light invisible to the human eye. It reflects off foliage, and creates a soft, otherworldly glow. Also, it is absorbed by water and sky, resulting in high-contrast images with an ephemeral, dream-like quality.

I hope this image allows the viewer a moment of quiet contemplation.

It is printed on 100% cotton paper with pigment inks and is available in the following limited-edition sizes, which include a white border for ease of matting:
