Blush pink, Cape Cod art I photographed in Truro on the Great Dunes Trail. The Great Dunes Trail winds through the forest and then the dunes high above the ocean. I photographed this scene using a 720nm infrared filter on a full-spectrum-converted camera.
Infrared photography allows us to see the world illuminated by light invisible to the human eye. It reflects off foliage, and creates a soft, otherworldly glow. Also, it is absorbed by water and sky, resulting in high-contrast images with an ephemeral, dream-like quality.
I hope this image allows the viewer a moment of quiet contemplation. Cheerful blush pink and blue with beautifully illuminated grasses, perfect above a bed or a sofa!

Unmatted and unframed. Printed with pigment inks on matte paper, the image extends to the edge. It is signed and numbered ON THE BACK with archival ink, and you will receive a certificate of authenticity.
