THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

This long-exposure captures a single wave lapping the shore in Truro, MA on Cape Cod. In monochromatic browns and a deliberate grain, it has an ephemeral, dream-like quality.

My hope is that this image allows the viewer to experience the power of nature, hearing the rain and the powerful waves crashing on the shore.
