THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

My neutral Cape Cod art features a foliage-lined path leading to Seagull Beach in West Yarmouth, MA on Cape Cod. Sepia with a deliberate grain. See DETAIL image.

I photographed this scene using a 720nm infrared filter on a full-spectrum-converted camera. Infrared photography allows us to see the world illuminated by light invisible to the human eye. It reflects off foliage, creating a soft, otherworldly glow, and it is absorbed by water and sky, resulting in high-contrast images with an ephemeral, dream-like quality.

Printed with pigment inks on matte paper, the image extends to the edge. It is signed and numbered ON THE BACK with archival ink. Also, a certificate of authenticity is provided.

Prices may increase as editions sell.

When the above limited editions sell out, the image is longer printed and sold as such. The artist reserves the right to use this image for commercial purposes.
