Sand Fences at Chapin Beach – Limited Edition

Description

In my black and white Dennis print, a sand fence stretches along dunes at Chapin Memorial Beach. The footprints on the slope of the dune are in focus and lead the eye to the fencing beyond. The foreground in soft focus. A wide expanse of sky and clouds fills the top of the frame. See detailed photo. I have photographed this scene using a 720nm infrared filter on a full-spectrum-converted camera.

Infrared photography allows us to see the world illuminated by light invisible to the human eye. It reflects off foliage, creating a soft, otherworldly glow. Water and sky absorb infrared light, resulting in high-contrast images with an ephemeral, dream-like quality.

I hope my black and white Dennis print allows the viewer to experience a moment of quiet and calm.

I will print it on 100% cotton paper with pigment inks with a white border for ease of matting. Prints are available in the following sizes:

Prices may increase as editions sell. Unmatted and unframed. Ships in a rigid tube.

When the above limited editions sell out, the image will no longer be printed and sold as such. I reserve the right to use this image for commercial purposes.
