THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

I was happy that a gull posed for me on a misty October morning at Lakeland Park in Cazenovia, New York. The colors are subdued beiges and grays, with dark green benches. Rippled water reflects the scene above, and a line of mist rises from it in the background.

The unmatted, unframed prints will have a 1 or 2″ white border (smaller sizes have a smaller border), unless otherwise requested. The image will extend to the edge of canvas wraps and the sides will have a mirror image.

Unframed Prints: Will be printed-to-order on luster paper to be enjoyed for generations. You will receive them unmatted, and unframed, however, I offer my photography in standard sizes. Take a look at craft stores, online, or better still, support your local frame shop.

Hang-Ready Canvas Wraps: No need to mat and frame, gallery wraps arrive at your doorstep ready to hang and enjoy! Your artwork is made to order in my favorite professional lab. The image is printed onto pH neutral, archival grade, poly-cotton blend, acid-free canvas using archival inks. The canvas is then wrapped around 1 1/2″ kiln-dried solid pine stretcher bars. The back is affixed with hanging hardware.

-Packaging-
Prints: In a cello envelope, secured to stiff mat board or cardboard and shipped inside a bubble mailer, rigid mailer, or box. Larger prints will be rolled in a tube. Pillow covers: Folded in a cello envelope inside a mailer. I try to be environmentally conscious and reuse packaging materials when possible.
