THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
I’ve always admired Starlings’ iridescent feathers. Here, the bird is perched on a tree backed by a teal blue sky, made possible through use of an in-camera polarizing filter. I’ve layered the image with many textures which enhance the colors of the newly budding foliage. Please see the detailed image.
This image is available in the following limited-edition sizes:

The photo is printed with a white border. If you prefer not to have a border, please let me know and I will remove it so the image size will be enlarged to the size of the base dimensions. The photo will be signed and numbered ON THE BACK with archival ink and you will receive a certificate of authenticity. If you prefer it to be signed on the front, please contact me.
Prices may increase as editions sell. Archival, acid-free, pH neutral, pure cellulose fine art paper. Matte finish. Signed and numbered ON THE BACK with archival ink.
When the above limited editions sell out, the image will no longer be printed and sold as such. The artist reserves the right to use this image for commercial purposes.
