European Starling – Limited Edition

Description

Possibly inspired by birds in Shakespeare’s works, Eugene Schieffelin released around 60 European Starlings into Central Park in 1890. They are now considered an invasive species.

Here, I’ve showcased one innocent Starling perched on branches in spring.  The branches are adorned with budding yellow and pink leaves. The dark, teal blue sky, mimics the Starling’s iridescent feathers. I’ve layered the image with many textures. Please refer to the detailed images.

Archival, printed with pigment ink on matte fine art paper. The photo is signed and numbered ON THE BACK with archival ink, in addition, will receive a certificate of authenticity.

Prices may increase as editions sell. When the above limited editions sell out, the image will no longer be printed and sold as such. The artist reserves the right to use this image for commercial purposes.

SHIPPING

Shipping is free to the continental United States. I will send you an email with a tracking number when your art ships.

PACKAGING

I will package smaller prints in a cello envelope, secured to stiff mat board or cardboard and shipped inside a bubble mailer, rigid mailer, or box. Larger prints are rolled in a tube. I try to be environmentally conscious and reuse packaging materials when possible.
