THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

The starry night sky is not typically visible to city-dwellers, so my print of Central Park at night allows the viewer to imagine seeing stars above New York City. Here, a couple rows a boat surrounded by trees. The color of the passenger’s sweater is repeated in the leaves and The Eldorado, which reflects off the water. Layered with faint textures.

Since my youth, I have been fascinated by the night sky. I spent many peaceful nights in the back yard with my telescope and chirping crickets. My photo composite allows the viewer moments of quiet contemplation and serves as a reminder that the universe beyond Earth is there always.

Unmatted and unframed. Printed with pigment inks on matte paper, the image extends to the edge. It will be signed and numbered ON THE BACK with archival ink, and you will receive a certificate of authenticity.
