Maidenhair Fern on Gray

Description

The bright green of this Maidenhair fern contrasts nicely against gray. Out-of-focus points of light, or bokeh, add interest to the background. I shot this image with a macro lens and shallow depth of field which allows the viewer to see details of some leaves in sharp focus, while others are in soft focus. Lustre finish – unmatted, unframed.

UNMATTED PHOTOS: Will be printed-to-order on luster paper to be enjoyed for generations. You will receive them unmatted, and unframed, however, I offer my photography in standard sizes. Take a look at craft stores, online, or better still, support your local frame shop.

The image is printed onto pH neutral, archival grade, poly-cotton blend, acid-free canvas using archival inks. The canvas is then wrapped around 1 1/2″ kiln-dried solid pine stretcher bars. The back is affixed with hanging hardware.

Prints: In a cello envelope, secured to stiff mat board or cardboard and shipped inside a bubble mailer, rigid mailer, or box. Larger prints will be rolled in a tube. Pillow covers: Folded in a cello envelope inside a mailer. I try to be environmentally conscious and reuse packaging materials when possible.
