THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
A storm had coated every surface of the higher elevations here in Central New York in snow. It was the winter of 2020-2021, the Covid winter. Our school district was able to offer daily in-person learning and ran two shifts of buses instead of one to maintain distancing. To me this image represents resilience and tenacity. *For sizes and crops, please click on the magnifier for each image. They are labeled underneath. Dimensions are width x height.
Yellow Bus was chosen as a Juror’s Selection in the New York Center for Photographic Art’s International Call for Entry, “Primary Colors” in January 2021 by Ann Jastrab, Center for Photographic Art, Carmel, CA, as well as for PhotoPlace Gallery’s exhibition, “Quiet Landscape”, Middlebury, Vermont, by jurors Jacob and Alissa Hessler, March 2021.

Unframed Prints: Will be printed-to-order on luster paper to be enjoyed for generations. You will receive them unmatted, and unframed, however, I offer my photography in standard sizes. Take a look at craft stores, online, or better still, support your local frame shop.
Hang-Ready Canvas Wraps: No need to mat and frame, gallery wraps arrive at your doorstep ready to hang and enjoy! Your artwork is made to order in my favorite professional lab. The image is printed onto pH neutral, archival grade, poly-cotton blend, acid-free canvas using archival inks. The canvas is then wrapped around 1 1/2″ kiln-dried solid pine stretcher bars. The back is affixed with hanging hardware.
