THE STORY BEHIND THE ART

My yellow taxi art features an Upper East side building contrast against a starry night sky. City dwellers are typically deprived of seeing a starry night sky, so it is easy to forget what lies beyond our daily routines. I have presented the night sky beyond a building I’ve isolated on the Upper East side of Manhattan, New York. A cab sits at a red light transporting an antsy passenger who is but a blur. A pedestrian sees nothing but her phone.

Unmatted and unframed. Printed with pigment inks on matte paper, the image extends to the edge. It will be signed and numbered ON THE BACK with archival ink, and you will receive a certificate of authenticity.
